Mobility city at Zaragoza: an innovation center in automotive
Mobility city is a project launched this monday by Aragon´s Government and Fudación Ibercaja and counts with the support of twenty companies realated with mobility which have subscribed a protocol of intentions with the project.
José Luis Rodrigo, managing director of Fundación Ibercaja has explained that this initiative offers a different and advantageous platform for all the automotive and movility industries around the world that face to new ways in use and property concept of vehicles and also to “great tecnologic changes”
In the first moment Expoempresarial, a public company from Aragon´s Government and owner of Pabellon Puente, which was designed by Zaha Hadid, will undertake the conditioning with an invest amount of a million and a half euros according with Javier Lambán words.
At the same time, it is coworked with Fundación Ibercaja, which manages the place to specify the project elements. For Lambán is “absolutely lavish”, and its results could be seen in 2019.
The space of the Bridge Pavilion will be divided into three areas differentiated in uses and contents, the first dedicated to the professional field and to companies and which guides the spirit of the whole.
The leading automotive, energy and telecommunications companies and public entities will work together, positioning their current and future products and virtual concessions will be located where prototypes will be tested, in a space where lectures will be scheduled and which will serve as a laboratory for ideas or workshops of innovation with emerging companies.
Another area will be devoted to the training field, and there will be an open space for schools, universities and graduate centers to show the latest advances in digitalization of processes, as well as to host the holding of job fairs to attract young talent.
