All the Brand new cars will have an autonomous emergency call device <> since today

The new automatic system of emergency calls (eCall) will be available in every single car manufactured in Europe since next March 31. A progress that, according to manufacturers, has been possible thanks to the <> invest made by the automobile sector.

This new tool consist on integrate inside the vehicle automatic emergency call system in case of suffer a serious accident on the road, so emergency services can answer quicker.

According to ACEA general secretary, the European Association of Automobile Manufacturers, Erik Jonnaert, the eCall <> from the firefighters, ambulances and police, to take part within the `golden hour´.

<>, Jonnaert has marked. Facing the future, these <> technologies will offer a <> potential to improve road security, for example, interfering when the driver isn´t able to react in time.

ACEA also claims a security integrated vision, that combines future technology improves with the training of the drivers, an improve of the road design and its maintenance and strengthening of traffic regulations.
